Basically ariving to this hostel is a little bit challenging since there are no signs, neither in front of the building; the only thing that you should follow is the street number. 

The room was ok-ish. I’ve didn’t understand why there is an Apple all-in-one. 

The building is old and i think it has some sewer problems so behind the toilet a pump is placed and it is basically ‘sucking’ the water. The results strange and loud noises. It doesn’t matter if you go to toilet or you are in the shower, you still hear it. 

The good part is that is well located. 12-15 min to the city centre. There no stores around. 

I don’t think i will come back to this place!

If you’re looking for the most basic accomodation, this is it. Sheets and towels were probably not changed, luckily we had our own towels to put on the pillows. Dirty bathroom sink and problems with the drainage.
Pro: 10 min on foot to the OldTown.

Wouldn’t come here again

This has been a nice, quiet, welcoming hostel for us, within 10 minutes' walking distance from the old town when we visited. It has a few drawbacks or cautions points, closely related into one. 

It sits in the middle of an old (as in 1930s, I guess) residential area with no shops and dilapidated-looking buildings on the outside, where refurbishings are beginning which means rubbish and debris in most corners. The inside is fine, including staircases. You get there via a pedestrian underpass that is nice, well-lit and clean still will make a few uncomfortable. Finally, it's on a 3rd floor, relatively steep staircases, no lift. And yes, as others remarked, it's not marked at all so you need to have your online connection and navigation software working to find it easily. 

Everything else is just fine, and we felt safe and comfortable getting there - if it may be different in dark hours, it was late Summer when we were there, with sunlight even at 9 PM.

The location will be great - once restructuring takes place, in some years

This Hostel comprises a total of five rooms, three twins and two quadruples and is located an easy ten minute stroll from Gdansk Old Town. It is in a very well lit residential street away from the crowds, on the 3rd floor of a residential block. 
The price works out at around £15 per person per night which is superb value. 

What you get for that is a very clean and airy room, a very decent en-suite with toilet and shower with always available hot water along with an Apple Mac in each room.
There are no staff on site and how it works is that hours before you arrive you're sent door codes to your phone to access the building and hostel itself. Doors keys you'll find waiting for you in your individual door and thereafter you can access your rooms and the building using the keys,

A basic but very adequate breakfast of fresh rolls, preservatives and toast, flavoured teas and unlimited coffee 24/7 is laid out for you from around 7.30am each morning by the cleaner who is there for a couple of hours to deal with any problems or issues which we personally had no need for.

If you're after a cheap but clean and well maintained room in Gdansk this is for you,

One slight issue is that some people may find it hard to find if you're arriving in the dark. Secondly there is NO lift so you'll need to walk up the stairs. Please persevere though, it will be worth it.

A cheap but clean budget option overnight stay in Gdansk

This hostel is pretty hard to find... just about outskirts of old town. No signs on street. You just need to know location. No lift to 3rd floor. They send you door codes sms few hours before you arrive. If everything goes smoothly you will not see staff anywhere. Room and bathroom are good size. There's also an apple computer in room. But... It has seen better days. Thin walls. Toilet is making funny sounds... this building is +100y old anyway :) Breakfast is very limited... toast.. ham.. and coffee machine slow as ever. Location is liiiiitle bit creepy but there's a beautiful river park close by. Also tram stop is very close, can go to main railway station quickly. Walking to the old town is maybe 10 mins. Free parking on site. Wifi so so... but enough for surfing. We paid 27eur/night. Would come again? Maybe.

Cheap and basic

It is a tenement house in the city of Danzig with 12 to 15 parties in which one apartment is used as a bed and breakfast this weekend 8 men are using this apartment the noise is already unbearable in the daytime from the tenants of the house come increasing complaints

A very good address, a few hundred meters from the old town, a popular neighborhood and a B&B that's just flawless, littering, cleanliness, breakfast, price ratio... everything was perfect.
