We wanted a place to rest because we were just passing by, and we marked and it was a wonderful surprise. It's a very nice and quiet place, friendly and available people.

The weekend

I really don't have the words to describe the place.I'm sorry we have in Andalusia and in the Sierra de Aracena such a neglected place and forgive for the rude expression like this place.The receptionist is super kind but too much to write a horror book.No more comments.

Nos fuimos, penoso no lo aconsejo

Very cold. The heater is practically not working, the fireplace, a pork shed, three humid trunks and a lighting pill, we finish with the jackets inside the room, a disaster not recommended.

It's very cold.

Ruinous apartments, super old, nothing to do with the photos on the web. Super hard mattresses, horror movie bathroom, water pouring out of the bathroom because the curtain was too short, windows and doors unlocked...and over $100 a night.

Horrible, from a horror movie.

Without words!!! Around 10, spectacular in every way, a friend asked me if there was ever a family reunion and called me thanking those who were in luxury and had a great reunion... And this reunion if it's going to be your sister...I'll repeat soon...

The grand find

This was my 4th visit to Finca Valbono with a small group of UK walkers and our Leader Lynne (Nordic Walking Fit, UK).  There is much description of Valbono on Tripadvisor and accurate photos.  Suffice to say it still offers a warm, friendly welcome. I wondered if the Covid pandemic had changed it but am pleased to say it still felt the same.  The Managers and staff are very good. For us hopeless Brits with only rudimentary Spanish there was never any problem making ourselves understood. We had a couple of very wet cold days and it was a real pleasure to come back to the roaring log fire in the lounge. Nice food too, although the Restaurant may not be open every day. Best to check.

Still charming, 5 years after first visit

The people are friendly, but the ruins, doors and windows that don't close, bathrooms from another era, have been a positive experience even though the natural environment is fantastic, breakfast is cheap but offers nothing in return.

Very neglected and unmaintained houses.

Finca valbono is the name of the finca.

The property is located a couple of kilometers from the village, so you need a car to get there. The property is very rustic and has a special charm, everything very neat and clean, the pool area is spectacular, a two-minute walk from the main house. It has free parking. If you can book apartments or rooms, we bought a room, which was quite spacious, the large closet and the full bathroom, that is, everything rustic but clean. In the reserve I wanted only one bed and I put two individual beds, which were a bit fair but comfortable. The air conditioning device was quite noisy. The staff is very nice. A good option for visiting the beautiful village of Aracena.

A place with special charm.

We stayed in one of their two-person apartments and were delighted.The apartment has a living room with fireplace, refrigerator, small freezer, toaster, kitchen, cafeteria, utensils and dining table.The bathroom and bedroom are fine, with mosquito in the windows of both rooms.The apartment also has a small front porch with a small table to eat pleasantly with beautiful views.The swimming pool is huge and keeps the safety distance perfectly.You can order food to take and drink in the apartment.It is located about 900 meters from Aracena and although the road can be made by walking or not recommending it, during the day there is a lot of lack of heat due to the summers and at night I consider it dangerous, but by car it is a time to repeat.
