Was here for 5 days for work - room was very basic with 2 single beds with one made up, one of the walls was freshly plastered I assume the hotel forgot to paint it.... Bathroom ok expect the toilet which would constantly run water (figured out in the end that the handle needs to be pulled back up).
Hotel is right next to a trainline - this didn't bother me to much but was woken a few times.
Bar and restaurant were both closed as it was "out of season". Was a shame there is no mention of this when booking.
Breakfast was very basic.
Overall the hotel was clean but very basic with poor facilities and overpriced.

Poor

Not the best of hotels, located on a busy road to the front and a busy railway line to the rear. We only stayed one night. The only thing good about the hotel, it had good wifi but, that's about all. The bed it self was OK and luckily I took my own pillow as the pillows where useless. I booked the hotel for the free parking and it had a restaurant but, when we arrived the restaurant was closed, so we had to eat else where!

Passing Through

Horror! 2 nights without closing my eyes... not because of a party, but because of staying at a motorway junction... I've never really experienced anything like this. And all for a tight 185 EUR! per night! Room 114. Right sidewalk, straight out of a crowded parking lot, left of a freight station or something like that. Horror! Just don't do that! Then I'd rather be on a parking bench. The restaurant is very good, but it's also really mini. The cheapest dish costs about 22 EUR. A bottle of water...for 5 EUR. Price/performance is below zero for me! Even the Internet... well... sometimes I'd say.

Never again!

Hotel La Cappella is a fantastic small hotel in Baden. During my Switzerland tour of last year I was checked in La Cappella and stayed 7 days. It was located in a few minutes aways from Baden town in a quiet and calm place. It is a small hotel with a restaurant and other common facilities. Staffs are gentle and friendly. It also offer a nice breakfast and complimentary bus ticket for city tour. I really enjoyed my staying in La Cappella and suggest my friends and other to try this one.  

Quit & calm.

I was forced to choose this hotel so I wouldn't have to go to sleep in Zurich, but I personally found myself not well here, room with window railway side, bathroom with door that hits the sink, let's leave the towels and the shower alone, I only had the banana for breakfast, and it's already very ripe, imagine the rest, I'm sorry it stays close to the city, but too many negative sides.

Never again

I had to spend a night in La Capella for business purposes... short and short: thin walls, antique furnishings (shower cabin about 1.6m high), constant train noise, not enjoying breakfast, very poor WiFi stability and speed (only WEP authentication).

Went there last week for a dinner with friends and family. I have eaten most probably the best pizza ever. Although we had a small baby with us and the location is more for quiet dinners .... we had some great time and for sure we will go there again.

great food

Two negative things about this structure: the location, exactly between the state and the railroad. Fortunately, the night I stayed, the road wasn't very busy but it can be really very noisy. The other negative thing is the bar, turned into a smoking room, with a really strong and disgusting smell so you won't have to stop for a drink. Positive points: extremely kind staff, courteous and punctual service, dignified and clean room, good Wi-Fi connection, especially on the floor. A business hotel, for a short transfer.

Recommended for short stays

It's a small hotel halfway between the centre of Baden and Brugg, we've been fine, it's clean and there's everything you need to rest, have a good breakfast and go back to visit the slums. Surely if we had another visit from those parts we would know where to stay. Good pizza. Surely those looking for luxury should aim higher.

A short vacation in the magical Switzerland

Check-in / check-out service in the norm, nothing of stunning room a little old, wouldn't waste a little renovation comfortable position for work, but bad for train and road, both very noisy breakfast a little poor, but nice to be able to relax a little on the nice terrace, before leaving for work (as long as the weather is nice) Italian restaurant of the mid-quality hotel (not bad but nothing special)
