Bad, and very dirty. It doesn't look at all like the information in the advertising. Bathroom, dirty and very uncomfortable to use, bedroom ceiling with water recalls. poor lighting, plugs in very difficult places to use. We were very disappointed.

Opinion of the hotel

This hotel was terrible. The photos and reality is day and night. The ventilation system sends smokes from other rooms feom smookers. I ended up having strong allergy reaction for the first time. It smelled like cigarette the full stay. The toilet was incline side ways. The wifi disnt work from our room and was terrible from the loby. Towels with holes. Walls were damaged with paint falling off. Bathroom was dirty and the shower was missing the doors and was leaking all over the floor. It was terrible. Even the staff recommended to not stay here in the future. The owner doesnt care. We asked to get a credit for this terrible room and he didnt care less.

AVOID this hotel

Hotel quiet and well located. Excellent quality price ratio. Small window for hotel access: very steep street. Most: stunning view of the Bosphorus. Excellent lunch. Good quality restaurant: French-style cuisine

That was my first stay at this nice hotel.
the best is the view from the restaurant on the roof.my room had a partly view to the sea.the staff is really really nice and cooperative.and a good English (since sometimes this could be a problem in Turkey). 
only one problem..I didn't like the shower ( very old )

The terrace on the roof offers a splendid view of Istanbul. The rooms are nothing exceptional but comfortable. A short distance from the historic center. Good value for money.

The best part is the view.

.This is  a very good place to stay , with brilliant views of the Bosphorus,  especially from the (French) restaurant at the top. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choice. Good staff, with an outstanding receptionist, Mutlu, who speaks English and is quite extraordinarily helpful to visitors. 
There is a price to pay for that view, though, since the hotel is on a very steep street which could pose problems for some.

Comfortable,clean ,great views

Just like Istanbul, this hotel comprises a lot of conflicting things. Take location for example. On one hand, the location on the map is very good, it is on a quiet street next to a park and at the same time close enough to many major attractions. On the other hand, you have to walk a very high slope to get to the hotel, which can be very tiring on a hot summer day. On another hand, this high slope awards you with a magnificent view of the Bosphorus from the terrace, where you would have the breakfast. The breakfast is typical Turkish: simple, fresh and healthy. The rooms are old but has the adequate facilities for a decent visitor. The service that you get from the reception is on the other hand much better than what you get from the rooms. Once, the manager has even drove me to the closest main street as I was not able to get a taxi to come and get me from the hotel. In conclusion, I would recommend the hotel if you are not expecting a lot from the room and if you are on a relaxed schedule.

Goods and bads

This place is in the middle of town but the moment you step in, you feel somehow very relaxed. At the roof, there is restaurant serves perfect french food and magnificent view of Bosphorus and the sunset over Istanbul. The stuff of hotel is very friendly, you really feel like you are at home. La maison endeed.

Friendly hotel and perfect view

Hotel is located on the European side of Turkey all the sights are very well reached by public transport. Steeper ascent but then, super nice service Clean room, clean bath top restaurant on the roof terrace with hammered view. The breakfast buffet leaves no desire open. 😉

Holidays

If you are in need of a cozy hotel, which makes you feel at home, with a little glamour, this is the place, hidden in the streets of the city, in the modern part of it. Its rooms are comfortable, with a good view, have a balcony where to read and enjoy the sunset. As for the bathroom, it is comfortable and its design is more than a home, which makes us forget for a moment that we are in a hotel. The restaurant, where one can enjoy a varied and fresh breakfast with country food at the same time as international, is located on the hotel terrace, which allows for a good view and fresh air. The decoration of the restaurant hall has details that give a touch of personal glamour, in place of the paintings of the city, and in the halls of the house.
