I stayed here for two nights in the same week as it broke a rather long train journey. Both the rooms were extremely comfortable - with everything I needed - and the general decor, cleanliness and detail was exceptional. The breakfast hamper was beautifully presented and the food was delicious. The owners made me feel very welcome. If ever I stay in Exeter again I will definitely go back - in fact I might go back just to stay there again!

I didn't want to leave my room

Very good location, just outside of the city center but an easy walk (including through the park).  They have a carpark out back which can accommodate several cars but it does fill up when the hotel is fully booked.  We stayed on the top floor and the room was quite nice.  No AC although normally it isn't needed (we ended up there during a heatwave).  They was a fan and with the windows open at night, it wasn't an issue.  Water pressure wasn't the best but the shower was still acceptable.  Breakfast was wonderful and the people were very accommodating.

Nice B&B in a good location

If you want chic.....The Town House may not be your style but it is a comfortable clean tidy guest house in an amazing house on Cathederal Road
We found everything about this place good with a very friendly welcome & a great breakfast experience with other guests around a big dining table .......wonderful!

A B&B in the purest British tradition, with its Victorian architecture, street gardens, carpeted stairs and nice and clean rooms.

The price-quality ratio is unbeatable!

We stayed one night at The Town House and would definitely go back. We had a huge room at the front with en suite. The breakfast was good however don’t really like the idea of all guests sitting together. There are plenty of pubs nearby and the city centre is easy to walk to through the park. 
Ideal for a stay in Cardiff.

Warm welcome by the host Charles himself. Introduced us about the B&B and also about the "must see" in Cardiff. Very occupied and busy environment, but the place has a private park space at the back and is very silent in the evening. Nice cosy room with the  necessary  facilities, excellent UK breakfast and at walking distance from Cardiff Castle and the City Centre. My choice again for our next visit !

Stayed at the Town House for 3 nights just a 10 minute walk ac      ross Sophia Gardens Bute Park to the city centre, before you come out of the park there are Water Taxis to Cardiff Bay cost £4 one way.Hotel just 2 minutes from Swalec Cricket ground 15 minutes from Principality Stadium and Cardiff Arms Stadium and Cardiff Castle.The breakfast was 1st class and Parking was available at the back of the Hotel but limited to 5-6 cars.Highly recommend this Hotel

Great Location

I was in Cardiff for a week and lived in a small attic. The sloping ceiling in the bathroom is better if you don't get too big. I could see from the bathroom from the Welsh sky! The room and bathroom were cozy and clean. A great breakfast prepared freshly by nice staff. And all this at a really good price, especially when Cardiff was hosting several events. Very nice is also the big breakfast table where I shared my vacation experiences with other nice guests. On the next Cardiff trip we go back to Town House!

Feel comfortable in a comfortable central B&B

A very nice, lovingly decorated house in which you feel very comfortable. The location right by the Bay Park is very central and you can easily walk to Cardiff Castle and the pedestrian zone. Cathedral Road is quite busy and it was difficult to find a parking space on arrival to register in the house. The house, however, includes a guest car park at the back of the property, so for the rest of the stay the parking was not a problem. Our rooms were also very nice and the bathrooms were very chic and clean. The only (small) point of view is perhaps the showers, which are very lively and hardly interesting to book together.

Very nice B&B with very good location

Not far from the station, in a quiet street of Victorian houses is this delicious Bed and Breakfast. Everything clean, very well kept, a fairly spacious stanna and English breakfast included served in an old-style room.
