Very small, but clean rooms. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Bed was extremely comfortable. It was perfect for my needs. Breakfast was complimentary,  but not very good. Would have liked some fruits. Train station was a mile away, but bus service was steps from the hotel.

Boutique hotel

I am going to do this review in a 'Pros and Cons' format, but my overall summary is 'Pretty Good, some improvements could be made'

Pros: Staff and welcome were super friendly and helpful, bed was very comfy, air con in the room was excellent, nice quiet room at the back, excellent smart TV and good location for the Olympic Stadium and pubs/restaurants and shops etc.

Cons: The shower tray in our bathroom was dirty, not just a little, a lot, (Room 208) and the same for the shower head itself. No lamp by the bed, it was either big light or no light which isn't relaxing sometimes. Only 2 thin pillows provided (though the really friendly staff got us a couple more when asked so not too much of a complaint there) The breakfast was poor. On both days I selected 2 hash browns and both days they were stone cold in the middle. I even waited til they were freshly filled in to the tray in case they had just been left, but nope, also stone cold. Hard eggs, only fried available. Bacon and sausages were fine. But there was no yogurts, fruit or cheese/meat etc. Anything more than 2 days and it would be very samey. The breakfast room itself was also chaos. My recommendation is to remove one of the large sofas and chairs (there's no bar to relax in the evening anyway) and use that space to move 2 of the breakfast tables to it and away from the buffet. Either that or get guests to select a 15 min breakfast slot! No one could move easily or safely!

Overall though if I was in the area I wouldn't mind staying again for the staff and location and comfy bed.

Pretty Good, Friendly Staff and Comfy Bed

We had a lovely warm welcome from the staff and a special mention to Elizabeth for being very helpful.

Bed very comfy and bathroom nice and clean. 

We enjoyed the complimentary coffee. tea and juice and the breakfast was fine (better quality bread would be great and perhaps some pastries?).

I missed having a bedside light to give a cosier feel than the overhead light. The room didn't feel very private as my room was overlooking a bus stop. Maybe some sort of blind would be a good idea? 

I also felt it was quite pricey for my single room given the location (not close to tube).

Comfy bed

Well where do I start, coming to London for a wedding and was meant to be staying somewhere else (which was cancelled last minute) but it turned out to be a godsend, this Hotel is a little gem, nothing too much trouble the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Very clean, rooms are spotless,  buffet breakfast ( everything you could want ) Needed to book taxis and they always booked them for us in advance.
I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anybody. A special mention to Elizabeth who really helped us with anything we needed and made sure our stay was stress free.

A Little Gem

The biggest knock against the hotel is the distance from a tube stop. It's at least a 20  minute walk. Now buses can take you there, but that's confusing. 

A few other knocks: rooms are tiny, no closets, no views. We were 2 people and it took a lot of organizing and planning to not be crashing into each other all the time. 

While the hotel offers a nice breakfast--although it gets boring if you're there for more than a day, it's not bad. But there is no ice in the hotel. We Americans like ice and to not have any kind of ice machine or even access to ice is a bit crazy. Pillows are thin, we needed a couple of extras. 

Good things: It's relatively clean, especially the bathrooms. The people are nice but service is spotty. Asked for extra towels and they never came so had to ask again. 

But the price was reasonable so that's a positive.

The Good & The Bad.

Great hotel right we’re we needed it nice clean room ,good tv ,quiet,warm, with air conditioning,good shower,kettle in room but complimentary coffee machine downstairs that does hot chocolate! Complimentary breakfast that was spot on good quality ! 
All Staff are  great.  Parking is an extra if needed.  That good I just booked again 

Hotel Dc  Stratford 

We stayed at the Hotel DC as we were going to watch Ice Cube at the O2. The hotel staff were really lovely and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and very quiet at night time. It was great that water, juice and coffee was available all day and night too. We would definitely stay here again. 

A lovely nights stay

Found this hotel when looking for an overnight stay whilst attending a concert.
It's a little gem, set back off the main road with pre-bookable parking (a must when going to London).
We had a double room at the back of the hotel so no traffic noise at all. The room was a small double with a shower room. Both of which were spotless. the bed was very comfortable.
The price we paid included breakfast which was freshly cooked with unlimited tea or coffee all  day.
The staff gave us a warm and friendly greeting and were very helpful with giving us directions for our trip out later that evening.
We would stay here again if we attend any concerts in the area, highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay just outside the center of London.

A perfect overnight stay

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy. Breafkast was easily accessible and plenty of choice. Loved the chance to have coffee, tea, squash and water available 24/7. Bed was comfortable. The only downside was that the pillow was too flat.  Will return if I am visiting the area in the future.

A ggod experience!

What a great find this was. Came across it on one of the generic booking sites but got a better rate booking direct. From the minute we arrived, to when we left, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean and the furnishings modern and whilst the room might not have been the biggest it had everything you needed (heating, air con, Smart tv). The bathroom was clean and the towels were changed everyday. The breakfast was enough to set you up for the day and the unlimited hot and cold drinks were a real bonus. We would certainly go back.
