Comfy bed. Lots of towels. Spacious room. Fairly quiet. Very clean. Receptionist was helpful and gave us extra coffee. Stayed here many times before.
Good location for South Woodford and Wansted and easy to travel into Central London or the other direction to Epping.

Good all round experience.

Had a lovely weekend in London. Downside was choosing this hotel to stay in. Asked Jackie if she could arrange a cab from a local taxi office. Was told to do it myself! Why have a reception if the receptionist behind the counter spends all her time on a personal call. Poor customer service! Room was ok, very basic and budget. Needs a lot of cleaning. No bath just shower.

Bad attitude

Lovely staff, clean rooms and great parking. It is very convenient as my sister and her family live nearby

Comfortable hotel

People arguing in their room till 3 am is not accceptable
 Spend lot of money after long drive for a decent nights sleep. Made Tuesday even longer as only had 2 or so hours sleep

Noisey Guests

The hotel was nice. Does not serve hot food. And local shops in high street do close very early. My wife was very upset with reception lady Jackie. She was very rude to my wife. She refused to listen to my wife’s complaint about the lack of towels in our room and told her she was lying about how many towels were in our room. Out stay was ruined by this as we didn’t want to go to reception for anything.

Nice hotel, bad staff.

It was welcomed on entry and had amazing service, Talib gave us great service as he was friendly and was understanding to how we had a rough day. he made us feel welcomed and changed around my day, giving me a smile before leaving for dinner Sugar

Talib is the best

Me and my husband stayed in the room next door to the reception. He was feeling unwell in the morning so we decided to stay in and let him rest. The lady on reception was on a personal call for over 2 hours. I won’t repeat what was being said but it was highly unprofessional. We could hear what sounded like Mick and Maria being spoken about. So bad in fact my husband asked me to put the tv on to drown out the awful things being said.  
Our room for the money we paid was very disappointing. 
-Stained carpet 
-Brown mark on radiator 
-Scuffs on the skirting 
-Scuffs on the walls
-Thick dust build up in the corners of the carpets around the room
-Storage draws nailed shut
-Fan with thick layers of dust on the propeller.
-Thick dust build up on the back of the tv and on top of surfaces.
-Window only opens a small amount so no air can come in 
-Net curtains turning grey
-Dead fly on window sill
-Shower extractor full of dust
-Shower grout covered in mould
-Rust around chrome taps
-Small cracks in the tiles
-Thick build up of residue on the lino in the bathroom
-Low shower pressure so water trickles very slowly 
-No soap in the dispenser
-Limescale in the toilet 
-No toilet brush 

We refuse stay here again! And being told to speak to the supervisor in the hotel, who only wishes to shout at you isn’t good customer service or in any way a resolution to the countless problems we encountered. I will be writing to the CEO. This is not acceptable for any paying customer.

Rude, unprofessional and unhelpful.

This is my first visit staying in this wonderful location.
The hotel is cute from the exterior. Inside needs work! My room had a foul odour of sewage from the shower which lingered throughout my stay. Was told other rooms have this odour so there would be no point moving me. WiFi is very slow, so brace yourself! Jackie offered me a free late check out and complimentary breakfast box for a 5 star review. If my room smelt better I would rate higher.

Dreadful smell

Travelling to London to see the sights. Unfortunately my second day of sight seeing was spoilt by the fact I had a terrible nights sleep at this hotel. The noise was too much to bear. The hotel is very basic with no vending machine to grab a snack at night or coffee machine in the bedroom like some others I have stayed in. 
Ilona offered a free late checkout and a free breakfast box, but this doesn’t make up for the fact that I was exhausted the whole day.

Noisy!

As we were not happy with our stay (Upstairs back door being opened and slammed all evening). We asked the senior receptionist if we could add late checkout. The charge was £10, however if we gave a 5 star review on trip advisor there would be no charge. This is unfair as this charge should not be added for £10 if the hotel can offer it to customers for free, especially in this cost of living crisis. I don’t believe trying to bribe already unhappy customers for 5 star reviews is appropriate!
