My family have just eaten at The Old Inn. Great food with fantastic service!!  Large booking for 12 which they accommodated brilliantly no fuss, explained on arrival how the service would work in a lovely manner. I’m always a little worried when booking for a big party, as sometimes there are issues. NOT the case with The Old Inn! All order’s correct, pipping hot and delicious. Thank you for making it an easy and enjoyable evening. Highly recommended and totally worth a visit! Thank you

Brilliant Experience

I don’t understand why you feel the need to constantly challenge 
the  negative reviews on your page. You seem to have a lot of these and engage with the reviewer in an aggressive tone.
I also find it hard to comprehend the need for your untruthful words which you have replied with. 
In response to your comments I find it hard to believe that given the fact you were on ‘question two of the first round’ it would be that much of an inconvenience to re-read the first two questions at any point during the evening, perhaps it would’ve been ideal if you had thought of this during the many breaks that the quiz encounters?

Unfortunately, we have day jobs which do stretch into the evening and we make every effort to attend the quiz and support local business as we are Penllergaer boys who have lived here for 24 years. Therefore, that sometimes explains the lateness which is rare at best.

A note was made when we couldn’t attend the quiz a week after the new year and given the fact we didn’t make a booking for a future date I was under the impression we had no future booking/bookings. 

You’re correct with the quiz nights starting at 9pm but this often means the actual reading of the questions begins at 9:10 usually, if not later. I accept this is not always. 

I refute the accusation that some teammates never pay as we are often charged an extra pound on our bank cards and given the £1 from the till.

At the end of the day you’re challenging our comments in a poor tone which reflects the establishment in a poor light. Such a shame as it is our ‘local pub’ and like us, our parents, grandparents have often supported. 

This could have been resolved with a polite message as our phone numbers are on the system. Shame it’s come to this.

It seems that other tables on the evening were disappointed that we had to leave the quiz and found the position we were in to be unfair and unkind. 

Perhaps the manager needs to re think her people skills given the fact you’re working in the hospitality industry.

A nice place to stay booked for Xmas to allow us to visit friends and relatives over the busy festive period. The food was great and walking distance to the cove and beach.  On arrival we visited the pub and enjoyed the  beer passing the time with the locals

An incredible meal out and the stake was incredible there was floor-less service the team were incredible it is also far cheaper than any other restaurant in the area I went for a short break and ate there twice I would go back to mullion just for it

New Years Eve, had a great night, the place was rocking. Back again New Years day for breakfast, best full English/Cornish breakfast I've had for years, great quality bacon and sausages, beautifully cooked and presented.
Best pub for miles around!

Great atmosphere and food.

Lovely charater pub In the heart of Mullion , attentive bar and serving staff.
Great beer , nice food and a lovely atmosphere with a mix of tourists and locals . 
Live music on some weekends . Lots of outside tables for the summer and a log burner inside for the colder months 


The old inn

Amazing place. Kloe very friendly. Food-superb congrats to the chefs. Also children wanted steak and they offered to split an adult one. We went to the Ryles arms in Cheshire that wouldn’t do this. Clearly the old inn knows what customer service is about! Well done to the old inn as this made our night! Really lovely quaint pub 

Great meal and service 

Great traditional pub with good grub and an old school ethos! Loved the musseles and the history. Got chatting to the barman Scott, what a pleasure. The 3rd time i came in and he had my pint on the bar just how I like it. If you like a pub how it should be visit here!

A proper pub!

We didn't stay here but we had an evening in the beer garden. The garden is shaded in the evening but in the hot weather it was still warm! The food was wonderful and we did get some treats to keep our dog entertained too.

Beer Garden

I went to TheOld Inn to research a book. The staff could not have been more helpful. Lovely people. Great food. Perfect accommodation. Well priced. All in all a really good experience. I will definitely go again. Having read some of the 1⭐️ reviews, I’m really mystified! I’d recommend The Old Inn for its ambience and superb staff. Thank you!
