I know what you are thinking in terms of WTF are you doing in Eloy, Az.   Traveling to and From Lost Wages, NV.  A small sleepy city in the middle of Nowheresville. A clean, safe and friendly hotel where prices are reasonable and not required to take out a second mortgage like those of Major Chain Let'sScewM Hotels!!  It's perfect for a night to replenish ones hypnotic heat drive. In addition, when those Monsoon Rains come about; seek shelter or become a Flooded Statistic!  Do you get my Drift!!

Exceptionally Clean and Great Price

sketchy part of town. check in for one night for $150.00  went to the room and found the door open. lucky for us, I can carry a gun.  the room smells odd.  the bathtub did not look usable.  my two girls wouldn't get near it. so my recommendation is.  if the choice is this place or the homeless shelter.  take the homeless shelter and good luck

First thing I noticed was a big sign about $25 if you lose your key.  They have real metal keys and I guess people walk with them.  Instead of doing like most modern hotels their solution is to charge you $25 for a $5 key.  I suppose it's a net money-maker for them.   Needless to say, I kept track of my key and took a picture of it in the basket when I left the next day.

the sink was stopped up was told i would be given a discount system was down so could not get me a receipt. Was quoted 79.+ tax my credit card was charged 102.32 
would not stay here again. The door had to be locked with a key from the inside

Phoenix run

I was driving from Tucson to Phoenix, and it got dark and I don't like to drive at night, so this is where I ended up. I wish I had gone another exit or two because I saw there were many more well-known hotels there. The worst problem for me was the smell of air freshener that they put in the room, that would not go away, and I seriously could hardly breathe. I am not a fan of smoking, but I would have much preferred a smoking room that I knew what the smell was from. The smell in this room was so strong, so overpowering, so unending, and so awful.  I really should have just slept in my car.

The room itself wasn't really dirty, it was just old and dated and way overdue in need of replacing everything. That I honestly can't say it was dirty. In fact the sheets were quite clean and comfortable. But I wasn't going near that bedspread.

Like other reviewers, I was also troubled by the sign that said $69, then when in the lobby, I was told that was only for truckers, but no mention of that on the sign. And add that there was a maximum sign in the room I've only $60, but that may have been unchanged since the 70s, along with the furniture.

That staff were friendly and polite, but I just didn't like this place at all.

Stench in room

We stayed at this motel because my wife had a triathlon in nearby Merrill Ranch.  this was a mistake.  The bed was the worst I have ever slept on and it's right along Interstate 10 so it was very noisy.  I don't want to hurt this motel's business but if you value a decent place and a good night's sleep, you will avoid this one.  I am 67 years old and this is the worst motel I have ever stayed in.

Oh no, never again.

Owners were very nice and cooperative. The hotel property is maintained very nicely, and the rooms are very clean. The only drawback is breakfast is minimal (cold cereal, oatmeal, apples or toast & coffee) - and if you are on the bottom floor, you can hear a lot of noise from the second floor because of no carpeting.

Great Place to Stay in Eloy

For $72.00 my expectations are not very high, but this was a total disappointment.
To start, I was given room 306, but when I opened the door it was already in use by an other guest. So I returned to the office. I got the key for room 314, when I opened the door it was full of smoke and no lights. Next I got the key to room 214. When I opened the door it was also in use.  I guess you got the point. Finally I got a room that was mine to use for the night.  Floor was dirty, door to the bathroom did not close never mind it did not lock.  Walls had not been finished and room needed some t.l.c.  Shower had warm but not hot water for a few minutes for just one person second had to make it with cold water. The only thing that worked with no complaint was the air conditioning.  And no, I will not return.

Will skip this one next time.

I have read these reviews and still decided to book this hotel for 3 nights.  I called them directly instead of booking thru a 3rd party.
Every person I interacted with or spoke with on the phone before my arrival could not have been more helpful.
To my surprise and delight, my room came with a small kitchen a big plus.  The price was right and the room was quiet.
Out with the old in with the new.  This place is managed by new people, Max and Louise are outstanding in customer service. Thank you and I will be back again.
