I wouldn't go so far as to say as some would say that the hotel is unsanitary. My room was clean. But the doors and walls thick as paper let the slightest conversation be heard, even at the end of the hall. Impossible to fall asleep. On the top floor, a kind of ruby rushed to the ceiling signals a slide, all bathing in a strange light coming from a room with a bad door... A bit surreal ambiance in 2019. The electrical system had not to be rebuilt for 40 years. It's an old house, a smell of greasy fleet on arrival in the reception area.

The Shining

Dirty, in a sad, gloomy state... a bad movie, it seems like nobody cares about the condition of the place.

What to Avoid

Old room, spotted canvas, doors that don't close, no sound insulation, small TVs, broken shower apples (impossible to hang) electrical socket detach from the wall, dust, poorly done housekeeping, lousy silicone joint, the more the pretty waitress

The kitchen is delicious in a green setting! Service speed The staff is always so friendly It's a shame this restaurant is going to disappear at the end of 2019... so come enjoy it while it's still open!

How, in the old days, can one agree to sleep in such a decayed hotel a real disgrace a rotten room, unstable staff, little dej from another era stop no more throw it away run away from this hotel only the pool and terrace come out of the lot

A Disaster

The photos on the site are misleading as to the rooms which are in a detestable state!Read more than tired,old bathroom,which doesn't make you want to stay there for very long!No air conditioning or actual ventilation for the bathroom!really disappointed and angry that they were cheated!v

A very bad surprise.

Reading the reviews before mine I would not have booked but things went better than expected. The hotel has strengths and weaknesses; I will be schematic with ratings from 0 to 10 as I like to do: Old structure but not without maintenance:6 Rooms of adequate size but not soundproofed due to duty: 6 Clean rooms:6 Clean bathroom: 7 Linen: 8 Restaurant: 9 Breakfast: 6 Friendliness of owners: 7 Pool: 7

Less bad than expected

Under the threshold of the acceptable minimum! very tedious rooms, a very impractical bathroom, a small and uncomfortable bed, the noise of the parquet... The breakfast: soup, bread of baguette, butter, some ham, cheese, coffee and some tea. acceptable croissants. The dinner was moderate. It was noted that they were refreshing dishes, with something to taste for. For the price, I do not recommend this site. Almost 70€ the room with breakfast, very high!

The service and courtesy of the staff is excellent but the room service is like a fourth-class hotel. The room is suffocating and very different from the one advertised on Booking.com. The restaurant has a limited offer, although it is very affordable. I wouldn't go back there.

Hotel not recommended

We stayed here for 3 nights in a most appalling room in the annexe - the bathroom was like something out of the dark ages and the pillows were so thin that they were virtually non existent.  We had to fight hard to get a sufficient number of towels and they were removed by the staff after the second night.
Breakfast was barely adequate and a total rip off at 8.50 Euros - we even had a large dead cockroach at the bottom of bread basket which we discovered having eaten the bread.  By the third morning even the plastic ham and cheese failed to appear leaving only stale cornflakes, bread, croissant and jam available.
However a family dinner on the Friday night was very good with imaginative and tasty dishes served quickly and in a very friendly way.  My husband was particularly delighted with his Black Pig pork dish served with a delicious sauce.  My filet steak was perfect.
The whole place needed cleaning, dead plants removing from reception and it looked as if the maintenance was carried out by someone who had no idea what they were doing.  there was a succession of different people on reception and waiting every time we went into the hotel.
