Hotel Du Cheval Blanc is located in the heart of the historic city of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The homeland of Nostradamus and the city where the great and famous Van Gogh was treated.. The hotel is in the very center of the city, near the St. Mary's temple, next to many restaurants, opposite the bakery, free parking, the internet works well, friendly hostesses, there are free water coolers (free), cute rooms, original, authentic, each room is different from the previous one - all the pluses... I don't understand how people can give an opinion about this hotel that was closed by administrative decision on May 29, 2015, where these opinions from July and September come from.

HOTEL FARM by administrative decision

In January, we booked this hotel for a wedding in September, all the rooms were paid in advance and the checks were debited. In July, people found the doors closed and in an emergency, we had to find accommodation. I'll let you imagine the extra costs.

Dishonesty and Punishment

Two-star hotel in the centre of St. Rémy de Provence. Very simple hotel, rather clean, no real charm so ideal for a stage.

Not bad.

Hõtel fermė by prefectural decree of 29 May 2915!!! We had to stay there for two nights from 6 to 8 August..... Reservation in February with immediate delivery of a cashed bill. Call in April for confirmation: ras Not even able to notify its customers!!! We were advised to lodge a complaint in the hope of recovering our bill.

What a scandal!

We stayed there one night to avoid the holiday clogs, room just right, weather, city centre, a little noisy but the weather allows you to sleep with the windows closed, breakfast on the terrace for the first of the holidays on top, smiling staff.

A satisfying night

After booking in March to the end of June directly with the hotel with a lot of request for a ride, on our arrival from Rome with 1000 km on wheels, at 7pm, with a small child, we found the structure closed as described in a court notice on the entrance door for various irregularities dated 29 May. There was all the time to warn the booker of their legal troubles and return the advances. Of course they are irreparable. You can imagine the joy of having to find another structure for the night in the most demanded period in Provence.

Scammers

We booked this hotel because there was a free car park. There was actually a parking lot for 4-5 cars POSTENTLY occupied. We had to look for a parking lot in the city.

We spent two nights at the hotel.

This very old, run down and desperately needing repair hotel has only two things going for it—convenient to the city centre and close parking for Saturday morning's market.  Be careful sitting on the toilet, the seat may fall off.  Thank goodness for the air conditioning which kept out the noise of the busy street.  Personally, I would pass on this one.

Never Again

My wife and I stayed at this hotel earlier this week. The bathroom was so unclean that my wife would not use the shower this morning. I discovered that old used bars of soap and shampoo packets had been left above the shower stall wall. Wi-Fi in the room was very slow or not working at all, unless I stepped outside into the hallway. The telephone in the room did not work properly. I could only call out and I could not be heard by my friend who was less than a mile away. When I complained to the woman at reception, she said that none of the phones were working and there was nothing she could do about it. After raising my voice a bit, the lady at reception did give me her cell phone to use to call my friend. Noise from the rooms next door was disturbing and could be heard throughout the night. The breakfast was rather sparse and unsuitable for anyone with special diet needs. However, the air conditioning in the room worked well. The advertised parking spaces on site were not adequate in number for all guests and I had to park some distance away. I would never stay in this hotel again.
