We had a pleasant family stay at the castle of Nazé. The owners are welcoming and attentive to your well-being. They open the doors of their beautiful home with enthusiasm and generosity. Our room, tastefully decorated, was very spacious and bright, the bedding excellent: we slept there especially well after our busy days in the Saumur area. Excellent and rich breakfast, served with delicious local products and homemade. As a bonus, warm but not invasive welcome from the family! You can also visit other residents of the area (sheep, sheep and chickens). We will return with the lovely dog to enjoy the pool:)

A magnificent castle of character surrounded by greenery and the calm nature, allowed us to spend two nice nights resting.

The life of the castle during the weekend

Welcome as princes for our stay, in a charming and authentic home. Perfectly quiet location 2 steps from Saumur not far from the perfect vineyards for tasting and visits to the cellars.

It's the real thing!

The castle is discovered at the end of an aisle and it is as if time had stopped in the sixteenth century! What a landscape! Truly bluffed by the state of preservation of the building and the beauty of its interior. Everything is gathered there to spend a moment of relaxation and pleasure away from the turmoil of our modern world.

Weekend with friends

Our holiday here was wonderful from start to finish completely idyllic to relax and recharge, exceptionally clean , breakfast lovely, Sebastian our host couldn’t of been more helpful will definitely be back!

Wonderful short break

Staying with Monsieur Sebastian at Chateau de Nazé is like visiting your favorite cousin. He is so friendly, his breakfasts are wonderful, and our room was better than we even imagined when we booked. The drive in the early evening through the wooded drive is enchanting. We felt like Louis 14 royalty in our carriage. The first view of the chateau from outside the moat just confirmed we had made the right choice. Once inside, we were wowed by the feeling of ancient genteelness in the best way. 
If you are looking for an American style bland hotel room, this is not for you. But if you want an adventure in old time French joie de vivre, I promise you will agree with everything I wrote.

Like your best cousin

A very pleasant step in a very nice, human-sized castle. The room, located in a dependency, is very large and comfortable. Absolutely quiet. Very pleasant swimming pool. Hosted by the charming, professional owner. To recommend. Excellent price ratio.

Stage

The owner is very pleasant and always with a smile. The room and bathroom are very spacious, with typical castle decoration. It will certainly not be the most comfortable but it is the one that fits the place. The breakfast included is very good. There is sweet and fruit, no salad, but to me it seemed very right. Maybe if you ask him to offer something salad, I don't know. Super quiet. Also, he accepts animals, at least dogs. It's not very far from Saumur by car. And he has a swimming pool, if it's a day and you can take advantage of it. It looks very nice. Obviously, it's easy to park.

Experience is 100% recommended.

This is a real chateau with a moat, towers and all. My room was wonderful and tastefully decorated. A good breakfast is served in a room with a fireplace and beautifully painted wooden ceiling. With Saumur within ten minutes drive, it is a great place to explore the Loire valley. But most importantly, Marité is an exceptionally friendly and welcoming host, she made me feel like a friend rather than a hotel guest. I would love to be back one day!

Magical place to stay

An improvised family weekend... and a nice surprise in this magnificent castle with outdoor swimming pool. A pleasant and personalized welcome from Marithé. An excellent breakfast, good yogurt houses, nothing was missing. Thank you for your kindness and attention to our Sacha, who is also delighted.
