A modern hotel in the style of the 1960s, with lots of plush and hawkish ceilings, just like at Aunt Alma's. In the afternoon there is coffee and cake offerings in the living room on the top floor. Rooms are modern and functional, huge TVs. The breakfast is good and sufficient, the sausage offerings could be a little more extensive. The highlight of the breakfast is the egg liqueur brew! The location in Poppelsdorf is very nice, the city centre is easily accessible by road.

Modern hotel with nostalgia touch

Very nice reception, in a very quiet location in the beautiful district of Poppelsdorf. Close to the greenery for a relaxing walk, at the same time in 9 minutes by bus at the train station. Picobello room clean and very quiet. Breakfast very good, but whoever buys it, will not find any rye or fried bacon. But for this, egg liqueur cream. Great. Decorated with charm in the style of the 70s. Breakfast room delicious, but you can sit in chairs at coffee tables. There is only 1 table with chairs. But also funny. Again and again.

It's a quiet, beautiful hotel in a quiet location.

Hotel apparently recently renovated, very well situated: modern and cosy decorated room, comfortable bed. The breakfast room, accessible all day long is a real plus with vintage and original decoration. Very welcoming staff. Convenient breakfast without originality. Full hotel yet extremely quiet. Several bus lines 100 metres away, the hotel is in a lively district, full of bakeries, bars and nice restos, the centre not far away. I will return with great pleasure!

The hotel is not suitable for people in wheelchairs. The staff is friendly and hospitable. The hotel, in the style of the 70s, is absolutely authentic. The rooms are small but fine. The beds are good. The breakfast is delicious.

Funny hotel with flair

But the best part was our receptionist, Jochen was super friendly and helpful, and the only negative was that you can't buy drinks at the hotel.

It's so different.

Aunt Almas, as it is now called, makes one on a Chlorollenhäkelmütz (yes, one of these has actually appeared in the bathroom) and a plush with lots of pillows and - unfortunately - in the living room on the 3rd floor of the long-sleeved carpet. The rooms are still very good, so nothing has been changed. The negative was that I had a non-smoking room, there was an ashtray in front of the terrace door and numerous cups of chips. This is simply disgusting and must have been cleared away. Breakfast: This was in the Poppelsdorf in the basement, I gave my absolute amount of black tea, and there was a very rich selection of meals and deliveries of eggshells. But unfortunately, I never had a very rich selection of eggs, but the whole of the seagulls and oranges were served.

Each piece of the exhibition takes you back to the time of your parents, with a lot of finger-pointing and decorating, especially the living room in the 3rd grade.

Back to the Future

I liked my stay for 2 days in their single room. Hotel is very clean with simple decor but necessary amenities. Breakfast spread is adequate. Bus stop is 100 meters. Good connection to central station, university etc. Lots of restaurants, backery and fast food places in walking distance. Staff are friendly & helpful. Elevator works fine. Would love to stay back. 

Good location, clean adequate rooms 

Hotel located in an urban setting, almost doesn't look like a Hotel! Everything is fast, check-in, clean. Gentle staff, classic breakfast (But there are no croissants!) Near everything: Pharmacy, Bank, Furnace, Restaurants, Bus Station, etc., etc. Very soundproofed rooms. Excellent sleep quality.

I found myself fine.

Clean, functional hotel. The bathroom is very small. The beds are almost a little rough, but still fine. The breakfast is very abundant with a lot of choice. Good for city tours. There were no drinks in the room.
