The Hotel Viktoria, is a small hotel in the centre of Lindau. (Isle of Lindau). The welcome and also the service at check-in, check-out and breakfast was very friendly and cordial. Nevertheless, I would (if possible) give the hotel 3-4 points. The reasons for this are: the price-performance ratio is not satisfactory, the cleaning of the room was not very good, hair from the previous one on the bed, as well as the bathroom is very small for the price. Especially the shower in the bathroom was very adventurous, due to roof rails and not clean shower curtain for the price. The bedroom has been renovated, unfortunately, the bathroom has been very positive for years.

Small, cozy garnish hotel - Price performance is not quite right

It was a nice, simple little hotel. My room was clean and well furnished. I had a room with two single beds. Since it is an old building, the rooms in the house and the room are cluttered. I personally didn't find it disturbing. You hear the movements from other rooms. The room even has a minibar. There is no safe. Breakfast and parking must be booked for each EUR 8.00 per day (right now). Breakfast buffet was small but sufficient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complementary therapy academy is 10 minutes walk from the hotel and the train station is in the middle of the road. I booked it again.

Sweet, simple hotel.

We were welcomed by the owner of this hotel in the center of Lindau Island, modernly renovated and furnished rooms, paid private parking, excellent quality price.

Newly furnished hotel in downtown Lindau!

I was here for one night as a stopover on my way to the south, here. For that, or for a short trip to Lindau, the hotel is great. My room was small, but I didn't stay in it for a long time because around the corner there are several bars and restaurants. The only disadvantages were the parking lots that were virtually nonexistent, but you can use the mainland parking lots and use the guest card to ride the bus for free, and the mini-small bathroom.

Good for a short stay.

The hotel is simple, but enough, we were there for one night. The room was probably recently renovated, the bathroom was clean and tidy, the toilet in our room was separate. We had the room in the back, so it was quiet. The location is optimal, with a few steps you can walk to the pedestrian zone and the waterfront. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nothing special but sufficient.

Good hotel downtown in Lindau

Due to COVID-19 and our inability to travel, we tried to move our booking for another night. We didn't ask for a refund and were even willing to pay an extra fee for the date change. Total and complete denial of management. Hotel clearly underfunded and without funds. Go elsewhere!

To Avoid at All Costs

Although the hotel is quite central, it is completely overpriced for what is on offer.A shower separation over the bathtub at a room price of 90 € is not possible at all.In room number 23 you can only sit on a stool, with breakfast and courtesy tax barely 100 € plus parking fees in the nearby very clean car park of 8 €, which is not possible at all.On our Alpine roads tour the most expensive and unfortunately worst hotel by far

Located in the centre

Hotel very well located, has parking, but room very bad, the Box is tiny, being difficult to bathe in. It has no air conditioning, so in the summer don't even think about it!!!! Service was good, but the reception only works until 6 pm. If you leave to check in after that time you should talk to the reception to leave the key, or you will sleep on the street. The bed is bad, mattress and pillows are bad.

Disappointing

Prices in Lindau, especially in the middle of summer, you know, are not cheap in any structure. This structure, as highlighted in the title, is a good compromise only in relation to the price because overall we are talking about an old two-star boarding house with old rooms, an old structure and a breakfast model holidays in Liguria 1970s.

A discreet compromise

Positive: The staff were very friendly, the room had no carpet floor (very pleasant) and was clean. The bed was good. The breakfast was for 6,00 euros per person o.k. unfortunately bad: The bathroom (bathroom is an exaggeration) was so small that after showering you couldn't even dry yourself without opening the door or going out of the cell. In the shower there was mold! The ventilation was loud and not very efficient. The room was very loud, even at night, since it is right on the main road. The address House on the Wall is misleading, since this street is only one foot from the main road. The whole house is very bright. We could talk very loudly after the bathroom was very hot. The air was very well distributed, and the room was not very hot.
