We stayed here overnight! The room was spaciously very clean and well furnished, with a modern flat-screen TV. Bathrooms bright and modern. Besides, there was a terrace! The hosts are friendly and helpful! Breakfast is ok! Price-performance ratio is perfectly fine!

In the middle of the night

A small but fine boarding house, we booked the boarding house as an overnight accommodation in a short time. We were received kindly by the boss. Room furniture is a little older but everything in all very clean and polished. Breakfast was very good -

Very good and cheap

There where really good and nice staff and they were pretty good in English. The breakfast was good and tasty. We were offered; Scrambled eggs, and normal eggs, yoghurt and milk, sandwiches, cerials, juice, coffee, hot choco. Then the rooms were small for family 2+ so we got 2 rooms but there were good bathrooms and beds.

Fantastic hotell

On our way back from Lake Garda, we spent a night in the guesthouse so that we didn't have to drive the route in one piece. The room looked as if it hadn't been touched since the 1970s with furniture, floors, walls and tube TVs, but was clean. The owner welcomed us with a friendly welcome. The breakfast buffet was especially good for the affordable price of not even 50 euros per night. There are enough parking spaces in front of the house. One should not expect too much, but for a short stay the guesthouse is highly recommended.

It's perfectly fine for transit.

Mr. Schmitt gives excellent tips for restaurants and tour planning, his wife is the good soul of the pension. We would go back.

A Wonderful Stay

Spent 2 nights at the pension Schmitt, and it was more than we expected. The hosts were great,the language barrier is not a problem,Herr Schmitt does OK with English,and they are both gracious hosts. The rooms we had were big and well appointed. we had a upstairs room with a balcony and it was very quiet. Breakfast had everything you need,also fresh cooked eggs. I can highly recommend this pension!

Just what a traveler needs!

This is a small cross between a Hotel and a Self Catered Apartment. I stayed in an apartment with a  small living room and a Bedroom. It was like a home without a kitchen. Ideal for a family with children.

The host , Herr Schmidt was very friendly. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. The fried eggs were tasty.

Charming Classic Accomodation

A fine, small family boarding house, quietly located in an idyllic place. Top rooms, comfortable beds, everything very clean and well maintained. Very good breakfast with freshly prepared oysters as desired. In the local restaurant there is beer from the brewery of the Kreuzberg Monastery!!!

Very good and cheap.

We spent two nights at the Schmitt Pension. We went to visit friends with several families together and wanted to have a great weekend. We used the pension only for sleeping because we were on the move all the time. But we didn't want to stay there any longer. What's the point of a good price and a clean room if children aren't wanted and are perceived as a nuisance? Our children were all super drunk, and yet we were always reminded that children didn't have anything to look for in the pension. Also the parking situation was bad, we were picked up several times, so we should please park, because otherwise the other guests didn't have a place to park (info: the parks were drawn up for the second day and no one of us was even picked up for breakfast).

Children are not desirable

This is definitely the best and certainly the cheapest accommodation we had on a recent "brilliant" 2 week trip to Germany. The Schmitts are lovely kind people and even though we do not speak the same language, there was absolutely no communication problems. A bit out of the way but suited us fine. Well worth driving out of town to find some excellent gourmet restaurants at very little cost. We recommend paying the extra for a suite with balcony (no.9) huge room and huge balcony with view.
