Good hotel near to the city centre and to the cities historical attractions. It has a nice wiev to Gyula castle. The service is pretty good, staff was ok, rooms size big enough.
The hotel has an indoor pool wiht saunas, and an outdoor pool to with a large terace too. Food - breakfast and dinner was ok.
They have a closed parking lot near to the hotel - 5 min walk - .

Nice stay

Good hotel, some reconstrucrion would be needed. It was clean, the food was delicious. The wellness was also fine, with many sauna and pools. It is very close to the Castle and the view is beautiful. The staff was very polite and helpful. Nice place to stay.

My wife and me spent two nights at Elizabeth Hotel, which locatin is perfect within walking distance to city centre and right behind the Gyula castle. This is a modern hotel with well designed and executed detailes, nice decorations. Check in was efficient, the staff at reception was professional and helpful. 
Our room was on the 3rd floor, just under the roof . It was also nicely decorated and clean but unfortunately had weired things too, such as it was extremly hot, the a/c was blowing hot air, there was only one bedside table in this double room, no lights were fitted to the beds etc. We hardly had amenities in the room e.g. shower cap, body lotion, tea tray atc. When we arrived we had even no bathrobes in the room thats were included in the package. After I complained at the rception we received two small ones. Since I am 186 cm tall I was not able to use it.
The bathroom was the nicest part of the place but with the lack of amenities. On arrival we had only one shower gel and shampoo for two persons.
Breakfast and dinner was in form of buffet, nothing extraordinary rather average with limted selection . Quality of food at dinner was better, all ones I selected tasted well.
Cleanliness all over the place was excellent. Service was on the slow side e.g. at the bar it took me 15 minutes to get one coctail.
Room tip: avoid rooms on 3rd floor.
Slightly recommended due to location, cleanliness, beautifull design and professional staff at reception.

Nice Design

We spent a long weekend at this nice hotel in the beautiful town of Gyula. 
Rooms are comfortable and well equipped, all of them are nicely styled. The spa is not too big but has everything it needs, maybe a new coat of paint wouldn’t hurt. 
Staff is kind and helpful at every part of the hotel. 
Main problem is with the restaurant: the quality of the food is a bit below average and there’s not too many things to choose from. 


Nice place with some issues

Last year I stayed at Elizabeth Hotel, and forgot a golden ring on the bedside in the room, I call to the hotel few hours later, but nobody find the ring. The hotel has stealling staff, I supose......

The hotel is in the best location for the castle & thermal pools, it's also in a quiet street.
The staff were good, the room was huge, well equipped & had a great view of the castle. Breakfast was really good, with a selection of both hot & cold foods.
There is a small spa area with pool, sauna's & Jacuzzi & was not so busy. 
Would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommended

As the pictures show - the rooms are in very bad conditions. We were in 202-203 and 204 rooms.
Sure, we will go back to Gyula but not to this hotel.

Ahogy a kepek mutatjak, a szobak rossz allapotuak. 202-203 es 204-es szobaban voltunk.
Biztos, hogy visszamegyunk Gyulara, de nem ebbeva hotelbe.

Cleaness is horrible

This is a nice hotel for the area, clean tidy with very pleasant staff. Parking available, I believe bikes for loan, and a small spa area, although not too good. Regretfully the food lets this hotel down, they do fantastic rates for all in food but the quality is just not there which I just don’t get considering the quality of the local produce. 
I did not hear anyone else complaining but I think most guest are from the region and not as lucky as we are in choice from Western Europe.

Traditional quality hotel

The hotel looks old, the bed and the meal are quite average, but the relaxation service is very positive: swimming pool, sauna, etc. It is apparently the best rated hotel in the area.

Very average hotel

I stayed only one night but I enjoyed the comfort of the room and the relaxed service (pool...).
