One of the nicest places I have ever stayed. We had the best time as a family; stunning location, fantastic staff and delicious food. I can't imagine a more lovely view from the bedrooms and starting the day with a swim and breakfast looking out into the lake was incredible.



Wonderful stay!

My wife and I had dinner there today. We each did the 4 course dinner. My wfe did the Tour of Italy and I did the tour of Piemnonte. Simone,our super knowledgeable server, assisted by the lovely Sol from Buenos Aires, recommended a white wine by Coppo Vineyards; Monteriolo. Great dinners with great staff. The Hotel La Palma recommended we try this place on the Fisherman island.


Spectacular Dinner and jservice

We had already stayed in Verbania on the lisola dei pescatori and had long reserved our room with balcony and breathtaking view of the lake. The location of this hotel is really the highlight of this establishment where the dining, for example, is correct but not inventive and quite expensive. We had been assigned room 16 Magnolia, which corresponds to our criteria. But this was not to be confused with the smell of sewage that took us by the throat the night came. This problem of reflux which has ruined our night is known to management and staff since, after checking, we learned that there are several rooms on the first floor. When checking out, we made a part of our disappointment at the reception.

It's a nice place, but watch out for the smell of sewage in some rooms.

Lunch on the terrace today, we chose this establishment because of its location, its garden and especially because they have gone from a luxury establishment to a luxurious restaurant, a card in suitability, dishes have an average of 35 euros; tickets are also billed at 35 euros. Our first entrance arrives; a shock, three nets of ice-cold fish, dry without flavor; we had to ask for lemon and olive oil to make it go through! In the main dish, at 38 euros, I had a baddy-colored mayonnaise lettuce with inside a few pieces of white, cold, and still tasteless fish! The result is: 100 euros wasted and a spoiled lunch.

A horrible and expensive lunch, what a shame!

The reception on arrival was very small and quick. We stayed 3 nights. We had a room on the second floor with a view of the lake, bow-window, without balcony. The water bottle on the table was not available, available at a price of 5.- euros. The room was cleaned up. The bathroom is quite small. We received no indication and we did not feel welcome, despite the weather. The island is empty and some restaurants remain open, including the hotel. In the morning, breakfast is very nice on the edge of the hotel, the buffet is of high quality, the products are delicious. A sight of the lake two nights would have been enough, a little more welcoming.

Calm during the week

Excellent stay in this hotel ideally located, at the end of the fishing island, facing Isola Bella. When the influx of tourists stops in the evening, and the restaurants for rushed tourists are closed, the place becomes magical! Clean, comfortable and with a lot of charm, water bottles at will, beautiful bathroom, beautiful breakfast very generous and very varied included. Justified price. The ladies at the reception are very friendly, helpful and very hospitable.

Enchanted place. Very well maintained, from the entrance (garden with glitter) to the restaurant area to finish with the rooms (bathtub) bed and not recently sighted lake. Octave for a night on an unreal island.

A magical place

As for the staff, the owner is very kind and available, while the receptionists do the homework and should work very hard on empathy... The room as I said is of good quality in the furnishings and accessories (but we asked for onions and they were finished...), with a dream view of Isla Madre and Isla Bella. In the evening we go to the hotel restaurant, aesthetically summed up by the large lake claims, and here is the loud fall on the floor with Persian pasta (cost 19 euros), a matter of taste and how it should be as ordered: we did not pay fast, we would have waited on the moment, and a precious and unforgettable carnivals arrived (and in fact) in the last 3 years (and in the last 12 years) - the best way to make sure that all the tourists do not pay for the delicious rice and wine (in the last 10 years) - the best way to make sure that all the food and drinks from the lake are taken from the last 10 euros (and in the last 12 euros) - the best way to make sure that all the tourists do not pay for it.

I've had dinner at this beautiful restaurant, and I must confirm that the service was impeccable, the garden by the lake is really well kept and very romantic, great food and great wine paper.

We were recently having dinner with friends, a magnificent location, a very elegant setting and very well kept. Very clean upholstery, many waiters. On the table each of us has already found a very used paper envelope placed on the upholstery with the words only for you written on it, containing the two menu sheets, scrambled and dirty sheets. The head of the waiter approached us in a dull way, showing himself dry for our various food intolerances, in fact the first dish came with the dangerous ingredient generously distributed, and it was dry and cloudy. Food in the norm, but the weight was too low and lost cooked and the result of the condiment with high prices, for a younger person.
