I wish the owners of this building would tell their customers that even though you're on holiday there are some simple rules for behaviour. These,apartment seems quite often to be rented by stag party groups. Living across the street looking right into these apartments is getting more and more frustating.

Frustrated neighbor

The location is pretty easy to find, about 10-15 mins from train station  or 20-25 mins to the airport by tram if my memory serves me right and with easy access to public transport. But the stairs to the apartment is not for the faint heart, but again a lot of the apartments in the area all have pretty steep stairs so I guess people there just get used to it, the apartment I stayed in was on the top floor, it's cosy, spacious, clean and very modern. Would definitely be my first choice to consider if I go back there.

Lovely apartment

We stayed in the East Park suite in Amsterdam in early August. We took a taxi to take our luggage to the downtown agency office because we couldn't get to the apartment a few blocks early. First thing to understand. There was no reception or staff on site. It's an apartment building located outside the center. If, like us, you arrive from a North American flight early in the morning, you're not comfortable with this apartment. We went back to the reception desk at the end of the afternoon and we found that we had to take another taxi to the apartment. When we arrived a lot later, we were not comfortable with this apartment. I said that the window in the hotel was in the parking lot, but I was not sure where to go. I was going to get a lot of air conditioning, but I knew that this was a big room, and it was a two-hourdy room, and it was not a big room, so I decided to go to go to the bathroom.

Find something else: a difficult key to pick up, steep stairs, rude staff, overwhelming heat and noise

As is mentioned, the check in is nowhere near the hotel. Be prepared with directions beforehand. 4 of us (2 kids) with all our luggage walking several blocks and transferring trams added a sweaty hour to our travel day for the check in process. 
The stairs were nearly vertical, and very narrow, be ready. 
The room was clean, the pull out couch was comfortable for our kids 8 and 11. We cooked meals there just fine. Good selection of cookware and supplies. A small tablet was provided to look up local attractions.
Unfortunately, we were only given one roll of toilet tissue and the rooms are not made regularly so we had to get our own supplies. 
There was no way to turn on the bathroom vent fans although they made a point to tell us to turn them on when showering. The room was fairly quiet at night but you will hear early risers above you. 
It's really 15-20 minutes away from nearly everything in the city via tram. There are several local tram stops though, just get used to the time it takes to get around.

Steep stairs, away from city center, but cozy

Nice double room with everything you need for the kitchen, nice neighborhood that allows you to reach the centre of Amsterdam in 10 minutes. Close to tram stops and supermarkets.

A great way to get around Amsterdam.

Stayed in a couple of apartments with friends for the weekend. Both apartments looked the same inside and were pretty much like the photos.
Very clean and well maintained. We thought that there were two bedrooms in each apartment but only one with double bed and one double sofa bed.
Downsides - it's a lot further in to the centre that expected. Definitely not a 10min walk as advertised on some sites. It was 15-25 euros each way in taxi.

Decent pub around corner which seemed busy a the time Thurs, Fri and Sat and also the smoke palace around corner for those who indulge. Overall good stay, the stairs that everyone moans about are typical of Amsterdam, most hotels I've stayed in are like that as well so don't get to hung up on them!

Nice stay for weekend

Great room, all clean, quiet location right on East Park, 10 minutes by train to downtown, the service is impeccable and convenient, they had a faulty showerhead complaint at 10:00 p.m., and the next morning the craftsman came to replace it.

It's a great apartment.

Apartment was absolutely amazing. Everything we expected and more. Amazing views from our balcony, great baths, lovely kitchen great design all over. However there were a few red ants in the apartment which upset our stay a bit. We contacted the staff via email and they sent someone over the following evening with a can of big spray.. this didn't fix the problem but at least they tried to address it. I don't know how the ants got there as the apartment was on the 5th and top floor of the building. I hope they fixed this before the next people got to the apartment! Luckily for them we weren't too bothered but other people would have made much more fuss!

The location is convenient: nearby transport, lots of cafes, market, supermarket. The room itself is clean, in the room everything is necessary for comfortable living and cooking. There is no cleaning in the room as such, only for a separate fee... But all the toiletries are enough for 6 days, and replacing the floor itself is not difficult... One big minus - the staircase in the room!!!! steep, narrow.... we used to have a wheelchair every time... but in principle, this is typical of most old apartments in Amsterdam... and to be honest, we didn't spoil this vacation because we were ready for this minus)))

It's a cost-effective option.

The apartment was very trendy as a furnishing, equipped with kitchen equipment, they lacked a vacuum cleaner, but above all a washing machine. For several days I think it's almost indispensable, especially if you're in 5 like we were. Comfortable to get to the center, with tram number 9 you get to 7 stops.
