Cleanliness, coziness, friendly housekeeping, well-organized space. They lived in a two-bedroom, it had plenty of space and everything needed. Despite the common bathroom, resources were enough, and it was comfortable.

The coolest place in the historic center, perfect for a modest budget.

It's a great place, especially for the company, and if you don't want neighbors, book in advance and buy all the space for a very humane price, it's really nice for a night out and a walk.

Iron, screechy, shallow two-story beds with uncomfortable mattresses where the back feels iron. Sleeping is uncomfortable. Not every bed has a flashlight. At night you hear a very loud clock fight, the tower in front of the window. And in the rest it's great.

The night.

We stayed in the forest room, it's spacious enough with high ceilings, it's clean, it's neat, it's possible to leave things until the time of settlement, it's in the very center of Vyborg.

It's a lovely location.

The hotel was not expensive, but in a good location for the night, on the way to Finland and with the opportunity to celebrate our birthday. We settled in the evening, but we were met, everyone showed us, gave us the keys. The room was huge with 6 beds on three. No accommodation, which is super important. Cleanliness, order, cozy kitchen where you can heat up food, there is a teapot, refrigerator. The water was hot too. We settled and went for a walk. The location is very good, all the main attractions are a row. Very friendly, cute town with a stone splash, like in the Middle Ages.

The Choice of Guests

I'm afraid of hostels, especially with a common bathroom. I'm afraid of sold mattresses, because my back is sick. I'm afraid of common bathrooms, because they're shallow. The kitchen is beautiful in every way: clean, spacious room, IKEA furniture and nice, there's everything you need for life, the bathroom is in excellent condition, there's no mold and smell.

The Gift of Creation

In Vyborg in total I visited three hostels. Prices range from 400-750 roubles. This one I paid 700roubles for per night (July 2019) season time.
In general talking about hostels in Russia I think Vyborg is not the cheapest city to stay since its a historical tourist destination. Out of all hostels this one I enjoyed the most because of a very friendly staff. I noticed that pictures are totally outdated though and many people I talked with and reviews I read were slightly disappointed because of that. However I would definitely recommend this place. I have a few tips about this place for my dear traveller friends. Budged travellers know what cooking yourself means in a proper kitchen means. Theres not much you will be able to prepare (they do have filtered water/microwave/coffee maker and a fridge and laundry cost is 150 roubles). Also there’s very rarely staff/administrator present. They often make sure they are present when you arrive so may make sure you arrange that before hand and in other case there’s number you can call shown in the picture and administrator will arrive within 5 minutes usually. I wanted to mention these little things to make your arrival and check in easier so you wouldn’t get confused upon arrival. I have stayed in this Hostel several times which I wouldn’t do unless I like the place. Location in super good and staff extremely friendly. Everything is clean and people that stayed there were peaceful and nice. (I noticed that its usually a smart thing to avoid the cheapest hostels in town, go for the ones slightly move expensive…. Its worth it trust me). This hostel has 3 rooms in total that why its as i mentioned peaceful and a good place for a family(booking 4bed room fully for example). I rate this place 4/5.

Full review of this place with tips.

The room is quite large. Not the reception hall, but the two of us. The keys were given out, the city map was given out, interesting places were told. Wi-Fi is free, tea-coffee in the kitchen. I didn't really like that after washing in the shower of our neighbor from the other room - the whole floor in the bathroom was wet. But it's more questions to the person, and I need the hostel.

It's a good hostel.

When I decided to go to Vyborg, I stayed in a two-seat room (called forest) of the Pichta hostel. What can I say? Not that I was very disappointed, but I was expecting something bigger. I'll stop at the nuances that need to be worked on. First, in my room, there is no normal closet where you can place clothes for free - only a few mattress cells to a stand with a couple of pendants, no stool to eat at. But a simple lamp is more than enough.

Not bad, but it could have been better.

There are only three rooms in the hostel. One two-seater, one common and one family room. All are quite spacious. One toilet is small even for three rooms. But since it is a small apartment, but two toilets here are simply not provided. The shower is decent, hot water from the column. There are no tables in the kitchen, but there is a barstand - very high, you can only stand, because you are uncomfortable sitting. There is a refrigerator, teapot, tea. Everything is clean, neat. There are common slippers for those who have not taken. Bed in the IKEA room, laundry, everything decent, clean. In our May arrival the heating was off and it was very cold. But you can also take a small refrigerator in the kitchen. In the morning there is a fridge, a dish, a tea. There are no books, no TVs, no TVs, no TVs, no TVs, no TVs, no TVs.
