Stayed here on the way to Santander.  Very easy to find off the motorway.  Room was lovely.  They offered me a choice of rooms, and  took the room with the bedroom up some wooden stairs.  Very comfortable bed, all linen nice and clean.  Couch in living room was great, ditto bathroom.  Was very hot outside, but the skylight in bedroom, big window downstairs and the fans worked very well.  Windows have shutters and blinds so can make the rooms pitch black to sleep.
Ate in the restaurant, menu de dia, which was excellent.  Breakfast  was also good.
All the staff were helpful and friendly.  
Plenty of places to park, and the petrol station in front of it is a bonus.
The town is even more amazing than it looks.  Have driven past countless times, always meant to stop, and really glad I did.
Will happily rebook here on the way back.

Excellent location, food and service

Cozy room, perfect for a couple's night out. Clean establishment and very close to everything. The owner was very kind and advised us very well on what to do in Buitrago. It has a perfect underground bar for breakfast. Good value for money.

Hostal classico y bueno

Decoration where wood predominates. A detail that would give us the choice of a normal room or a room with double height, where the bed would be reached via a wooden staircase. It is conveniently parked in the immediate vicinity and accessed on foot to the center in 5 minutes by crossing the bridge over the river. We have stayed in a time when it was not hot, something to be taken into account since it has no air conditioning. Very close to the road and constant traffic.

Highway hotel with rustic décor.

Ideal accommodation for our stay during the medieval fair. Very well located, close to the centre where you can walk (about 7 minutes). Quiet paea rest, cozy duplex room, clean, and with good mattresses. Very friendly staff and willing to help in everything, especially Rubén. Excellent breakfasts in the bar below, and at a good price.

Excellent and welcoming stay.

We were at the end of June, on the beach, and now on the way back, we've rehearsed. The dinners Rubén prepared for us are made with affection, like at home. The tomatoes in his garden taste like tomatoes. What a rich family atmosphere and recipes we exchanged. We took into account your holiday, Tuesdays. Again, thank you.

A rural hotel; the typical decoration of these sites, stone walls, wooden roofs, decorations of country houses... It is cozy, and the rooms are a kind of double-height duplex. Below is the shower, the sofa, the table, and, climbing a few stairs, the wedding bed, just under the roof. It's fine for a weekend getaway as a couple, but if you're going with kids, they put an extra high bed downstairs, and there's little space left.

A rural hotel for couples.

I come to eat alone, on a business trip. The bartender at the bar, in bad shape, informs us several people that we should wait. At 10 minutes a waiter tells us that we can pass. When I tell him I'm alone I just refuse the table. It's obviously anti-economic. So I never come back. I've been tasked with telling everyone I know. You never stand there. A waste of time.

It's horrible.

Great location, did try to get somewhere in the old town but limited/ more expensive and full. But this is a great place. Staff helpful and friendly. Listed as no wifi but was in the bar- really slow but we managed. Limited English but thats a plus.
Room 1 was quiet and ordinary- clean with a good shower in the bath. More than adequate for one night.
We always love a balcony- this had a great one with a few tables- just right for a few glasses of wine as the sun goes down.
The view of the distant mountains with snow caps was fantastic. The garage with one pump and a rack of gas bottles no problem- so few takers.
Will go back as it is only a short walk into the old town and would like to spend more time.
Lots of eating places and a fantastic Picasso Museum. [free] with the castle [when refurbished] is a good place to stay over

Great Hostal

The rooms are very clean and cozy, with beautiful rural decoration at double height: in which the ground floor is a kind of living room with two armchairs and a table and the bed upstairs on a wooden platform. The treatment of the workers is very good, and attentive to everything. They were interested in showing us the things we should see in the village and hiking trails and even though they have a restaurant they advise us on other establishments. They helped us a lot in planning the weekend.

 Cozy, clean and pleasant service.

Although the entrance to the restaurant can give a false impression, it has a rather pleasant living room. The food is of very good quality and at an adequate price. We booked a table for 6 last Saturday 18/11/2017. They have a weekend menu at 17.50€. We ordered a few first dishes that were delicious and after the second a good solomillo. It has a good menu of wines and good dessert. We were invited to a snack.
