Barcelona is a city that's too expensive to rent (they don't want to hire you, the people are afraid of you, etc.) That's why I chose the option of the Villa de Rental Off Campus option.So if you don't know it, what they do is offer apartments with other students or families, whatever you prefer.Okay, you NEVER use this service.The people who manage it are incompetent and lied to me from start to finish.The first time I contacted them they insisted on letting me rent without even visiting the floor, and unfortunately I didn't!Because the photos on the web didn't match anything with reality.We say that the studios that have visited the apartments that were published and that they are reliable, because they would never accept another apartment!! (I knew in the room that they were 20 minutes away and they told me that the property of the hotel was worse than the contract, but the doctor and the rest of the university were not responsible for it, and they also said that when the first year of studying, they could not count on the same person who was working with us, but that they would

Accommodation outside of campus

UAB's University Village has 25 years of experience providing the best basic residential solutions for university students. Near the main campus of UAB, the University Village has a seating capacity of over 10,000 students. It has two main villas, Vila 1, focused primarily on undergraduate students and/or long-term studies, and Vila 2, focused primarily on graduate students and visiting faculty. The Village has proximity to forests and contact with nature. All types of departments feature a regular room-studio distribution and contract, a kitchen with a hot tub, a microwave oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a full bathroom. I have lived for three years in the Villa Universitaria because it is very close to the University. The rest of the arguments are negative: the beds are individual but very small; the rooms have only a yellow light that does not allow a good study and ends up noting in the view; the walls are paper (forget to have privacy); the windows only have a crystal which makes the floor temperature never stable, in winter you will always be cold and in summer you will always be warm. In addition, the floors are infested with cockroaches, but you always tend to be in the fact that nature is all around you.

 Poor quality price ratio

The students who graduate and stay in the villa are of two classes: the first ones who do not know other places to stay for much less money and much better conditions, or the real guaro's children, who devote themselves to partying at the expense of their dads. The company that manages the facilities knows this and takes advantage of it.

It's easy to do and easy to do.

The advantage is that shuttles (buses) are available free of charge on campus, there is a gym and swimming pool available, and the campus has a Post Office, superfoods and other basic necessities, between 2 transit stops (line S5). The room service is weekly on long stays, the rooms are spacious and clean, even though they have been lived (built for the Barcelona Games). Rates have increased greatly in 2016 (in 2015, the month came back to 725€ for a Q 40m2 type with two simple, open space on a large equipped kitchen table with a large refrigerator, microwave and kitchenette.

Large campus, clean and green with all the useful services on site(supermarket, bank, hairdresser....) A well-maintained swimming pool open every day Evening activities(aquagym..free) Very clean and comfortable housing(television, climate, strong case..) housekeeping done once a week warm. Bus and train accommodation just next door, and Barcelona 30 minutes away.

Perfect for a family stay

We came here for the UAB summer term. The price was quite reasonable if you share with a friend. There were vending machines outside my room. Near the apartment there were  some restaurants, a supermarket, a washing laundry and a swimming pool. A 15-minute walk to the nearest metro station connecting city centre to UAB - better if you have a bike.

The room was big though the washroom was small. The beds were good and the air-conditioning functioned well. There were cooking equipments and a refrigerator. Everything's okay, everything's good.

Anyway you can choose the hotel opposite to this apartment, or you can rent a flat near UAB, but if you have limited budget or if you want convenience, this apartment is not a bad choice.

Not bad for a university apartment

For reasons that are personally favorable to me, I was able to spend three nights in the Villa Universitaria for free, so I can't make the price-quality ratio because I don't know how much my room costs. Yes, I can say that the common areas (parks, sports fields, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, laundry, recreation, etc.) were very nice, no complaints, and on the contrary, a lot of praise. It's always good to have coffee machines in hand for the cold. The room that touched me had an incredible view of a park, very good conditioning. The bathroom and kitchen were very well equipped, as well as the bedroom. In my case it was shared, but I slept alone. I also think the eldo is too little intimate, but it depends on who you are.

These apartments, which I think are for university students, are spacious but Spartan. Nice and quiet location, with bar, restaurant and supermarket. Close to the train station, you can reach Barcelona in 25 minutes. I could return there mainly for peace.

It's all right.

I would recommend stopping to compare the quality of life of foreign students and our students. It expands the horizon (not to the benefit of the latter). A large area of the campus with green meadows, trees, sports fields, paved paths, cafes..Everything clean, cared for like a picture.. The room (and I would say a living room) is designed for two and on the minimum area has everything you need: a bathroom (shower only), a mini kitchen, a bar, 2 bedrooms, large work tables, etc. The amazing luxurious view of the surroundings makes it spacious (but not all the rooms, by the way).
