Since you arrived at Pepe y Pepa's house you know that the place will be good, we stayed in the downstairs room that was triple, 3 very comfortable individual beds, with great pillows, a small refrigerator (no more needed), air conditioning, a spacious bathroom, everything very clean, a community pool with a beautiful space to enjoy and rest, the lovely patio at the entrance, and the kindness of Pepe y Pepa the best, make you feel at home.

What a home!

My wife and I stayed in August for 8 days.The room, with terrace, simply perfect, with air conditioning and cleanliness of 10.The kindness and sympathy of Pepe y Pepa, make you feel at home, always attentive that you do not lack anything.The incredible breakfasts, we miss those toasts of village bread.In summary, treatment, cleaning, room and breakfast, of 10.We will definitely return.

Better than home, excellency.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights, the place is very clean, the beds are very comfortable, the wifi is good and the staff is very friendly, there is free parking right in front of us, we will definitely come back and recommend it without a second thought.

I am enchanted.

We spent the weekend and the house is a real past.It's like you're moving to another world.Clean, cozy, Arabic-style decoration...the best location and the quiet to sleep in.Pepy, the owner, kind, attentive and charming.The breakfast of 10.

A spectacular house.

A wonderful reception in an accessible area of Medina, with a large free parking lot at 20 meters and two steps away from everything in a charming, clean and with the best quality/price ratio I can remember. At the entrance of the check-in, Pepe (the owner) warns you that this is your home, and that what you need is in his hands without problems.

As in your own home.

Nice little casa decorated inside in Moorish style not far from the castle.  Parking is nearby in free public car park, which saves walking up the many hills and steps in the village.  On arrival we had to phone the owner who showed up within 10 mins.  Although she promised breakfast during our stay, that was the last time we saw her or any member of staff.  The room was clean and comfortable, with bathroom consisting of bath and shower.  Free Wi-Fi that worked in the room.  Nice balcony to sit out on.  Good location to explore the castle and village.  Plenty of steep hills, but worth the walk.

small but nice

When you look at the facade of the house and imagine that inside, when you arrive at the zaguán, you are transported to the places of the Alhambra. The rooms with details that do not leave you indifferent. The facilities are clean, well cared for and in perfect use. The bed is very comfortable and original. We do not rule out returning sometime in the summer to make use of that terrace with its swimming pool.

A pleasantly charming surprise.

The house is very well situated, a few minutes from the town's sights.The rooms and common areas are great.The person who received us (Pepe) was very kind and attentive, allowed us to be in the common areas for dinner and served us a fantastic breakfast.

Comfortable and centered.

No indication of location. Hotel unknown to the locals, confused with other establishments of the same name. Once on site, no service offer, the manager, or the owner? disappears. Unreachable at night, you have to wait until morning to see it again and hope nothing serious happens to you... Do not take the visa card. We wasted time finding a bank distributor and withdrawing the necessary amount. We paid in cash but no bill. Hair on the cover signals that it hasn't changed. False decoration! no internet. toilets.). TV (three channels, empty. ice cream bar, we didn't wash ourselves! Very devious. This hotel has spoiled us at night and we were jealously enjoying the bathroom and we were not there to spend the night.

Disappointing

We stayed 2 nights in Medina-Sidonia and really enjoyed it. The town is well worth visiting and the Casa Rural is well worth staying in. We were given a wonderful room that had a huge balcony with two sun loungers on which overlooked the pool/courtyard.
The room had a fridge which was really useful and we got Wi-fi OK too.
The only down side was the pool which we were looking forward to using, however it seems that the owner invites local friends around to use it and on both the days we were there it was over-run with VERY noisy Spanish children. This spoilt the otherwise tranquil setting and atmosphere and our ability to use it.
We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that. The Casa is very good value and we do recommend it.
