Walking around the village gave us the illusion of trying Asturian fabada and I think we were mistaken about where it was simply white alubia aguada with a simple chorizo rodajitas in the middle of the dish the rice with milk was milk with a few grams of rice the beef asada very good and juicy.

The Fabada aguada is a legendary.

We were on vacation in the area and went to eat at the restaurant Petronila, we saw that it had menus for the day and we asked the waitress, she told us that they consisted of and we seemed too plentiful and because of her we decided to share the menus, as our daughters did not eat so much. And she, I said NO RESPECT. We ate half a menu each and when it came time to pay, we were charged as if it were the prices of the ticket, as she told me that they could NOT buy menus. With that we ended up paying for the four menus, we only ate two. We were very angry and angry, so much so that we asked for the complaints book, but we actually said that Laus was at the front door, that they could not get in the way of the meal, because we could not get in the way of it.

Restaurant with excellent food, but deceptive and unpleasant behavior by a waitress.

We went on to enjoy the village and its hiking trails through the Asturian forest and ended up commenting at the hotel.The 15 euro menu with three firsts to choose from, three seconds, dessert and coffee treat exceptional and the very rich food.We recharged forces and continued walking.

Restaurant with good menu, affordable price and excellent deal.

We arrived in Taramundi and decided to stay on the go.We chose the place because of the views that it offered and we were not disappointed.We chose a large room with a view of the valley and waking up so it was lovely.The room, without great luxuries, is perfect for a couple and with space and equipment perfect for what we needed.The bed was comfortable and everything was in perfect condition of cleanliness.The attention of the staff, both in the hotel and in the cafeteria, was impeccable and made us feel like family.

 Content with the election.

We hosted a group of 10 people a weekend at the hotel, the rooms were very comfortable but functional, the staff treated us very well.The location considering that the village is less than 10 minutes away is not relevant, but it is in the center. 100% recommended.

Very good quality and price.

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet in a magical setting. It is located in the center of the village. We spent the weekend getting to know Taramundi. As a constructive criticism change the curtains of the bathroom and put a fence.

Perfect Perfect

The hotel is good for being 2 stars, spacious rooms and some with very good views of the mountains, in addition to being central. It also has a restaurant but I only recommend it for lunch or dinner as breakfast in the cafeteria after 9am is rare and expensive. The man who serves in the bar is uncommunicative.

Enough to rest and make journeys.

Restaurant with stunning views, with a menu of 14 €. We took the delicious Taramundi soup (similar to the Gallic caldo), the correct Asturian fabada, the ternera guisada muy tierna y costilla también tierna.

I highly recommend the Taramundi caldo.

We were staying in two rooms and despite having the price closed via the booking website, they asked us for 40€ more for a room arguing that it had an extra bed, although we had not ordered it and did not need it.

Mucho morro al cobrar is the name of the game.

We stayed at the Hotel Restaurante Casa Petronila on our Asturias vacation. It was a rural hotel located in the very centre of Taramundi, only about 500-600 meters from the start of the Ruta del Agua. The room was spacious, with a somewhat outdated furniture. It had a closet, a table, a pair of chairs, two windows (one to the road, the other to the surrounding mountains) and air conditioning. The cleaning of the room was correct during our stay. The hotel has an elevator and free WIFI. In addition, it has a restaurant that I can't appreciate because we didn't eat in our area during our stay, but that had good tenure. The treatment we were discharged by the staff was the right one to solve all our problems and the services that were provided in the area.
